Navy discovers ammo at Aliyawalei in Jaffna

The Navy, during a search at Aliyawalei in Jaffna today (29^th September 2019), discovered a few ammunition.

The Northern Naval Command during a search in Aliyawalei general area had discovered these 41 rounds of T-56 ammunition (7.62x39mm) buried at the location.

The ammunition was found to be so rusty that it could not be used and it is suspected that it was buried in the area during the humanitarian operation.
