Navy conducts beach clean-up campaign in Northern Command

Yet another beach clean-up programme of the Sri Lanka Navy was successfully conducted at the Northern Naval Command on 27^th September 2019.

Accordingly, the Northern Naval Command carried out these clean-up drives in the beach area between Marsankudal and Sambiliturai as well as at Settiyarkulam beach. The naval personnel engaged in these efforts managed to clean the sandy beaches which had been extensively polluted due to a number of reasons.

Further, the Navy has been very instrumental in bringing about a clean and beautiful coastline around the island and conducts beach cleaning activities in all Naval Commands, every week.
