Navy conducts a cleaning campaign at Northern Coastal line

As another step of the series of activities launched by Sri Lanka Navy in order to conserve the beautiful coastal line around Sri Lanka, Northern Naval Command carried out a cleaning programme to clean the beach areas in the command, on 26^th September 2019.

Accordingly, cleaning programmes were conducted at Kusumanthure, Marsankudal and Mandathivu island beach areas with the participation of large number of Naval personnel.

Further, in lined with the Green and Blue Concept of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, such beach cleaning activities are conducted in all Naval Commands.
