Lieutenant Commander (G) Rukmal Edirisinghe assumes duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Ranagaja

Lieutenant Commander (G) Rukmal Edirisinghe assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM), SLNS Ranagaja today (24^th September).

The former Commanding Officer of the ship, Lieutenant Commander (N) Rukman Weerasekara officially handed over the duties to the new Commanding Officer at the Nicholson Cove Jetty in Trincomalee. The Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Upul De Silva was also present on this occasion. The proceedings of the occasion came to a close after the inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
