Navy recovers two chargers made with gelignite sticks

Two charges made with gelignite sticks to be used for illegal fishing were recovered by Navy during a raid carried out along the Erakkandi beach on 20^th September 2019.

These two charges which were hidden in a dinghy, were recovered in a raid carried out along the Erakkandi beach by Eastern Naval Command of SL Navy. It is suspected that these charges are hidden at this location to be brought for illegal fishing.
