Captain (G) Udaya Kumarasinghe takes over command of SLNS Sindurala

Captain (G) Udaya Kumarasinghe assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel, SLNS Sindurala today (19^th September).

The command of the ship was officially handed over to the new Commanding Officer by the former Commanding Officer, Captain Nalin Nawarathna at the Colombo harbour premises.

Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Upul de Silva also attended the event. The proceedings of the event concluded with the inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
