First issue in the fifth volume of Navy Journal launched

A copy of the first issue in the fifth volume of the Navy Journal published by the Naval Research Wing of the Sri Lanka Navy was presented to Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva by its Chief Editor, Captain Prasad Kariyapperuma at the Naval Headquarters today (16^th September).

The Sri Lanka Navy Journal was launched with the objective of widening the horizons in the field of research and persuading naval personnel to engage in such work. Senior Staff Officer Naval Research Wing, Commander Dinesh Karunarathna and the members of the Editorial Board were also present on this occasion.
