Navy finds haul of Kerala cannabis in Kankesanthurai seas

The Navy today (10^th September) found a 23.1kg - haul of Kerala cannabis in the seas off Kankesanthurai.

The Northern Naval Command, during a patrol in the seas off Kankesanthurai, found a suspicious package being adrift. The package contained 11 parcels in which Kerala cannabis was found.

It is believed that the suspects might have left behind the haul of cannabis in fear of continuous naval operations. The seized haul of Kerala cannabis will be handed over to the Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB) of Jaffna for onward action.
