Another RO plant declared open for community use

A Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant which was constructed by the Navy at Kannahi Amman temple in Punkuditivu, was declared open by HE the President Maithripala Sirisena through the digital technology fitted at Kilinochchi Zonal Education Office on 30^th August 2019. Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva and senior officers of SL Navy were also present on the occasion.

Sri Lanka Navy is expected to install a number of RO plants in identified areas in the future, in collaboration with the Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney.
