Delegation of Indian NDC visits Naval Headquarters

A 16 member delegation of the National Defence College (NDC) India, headed by Major General U.Suresh Kumar visited the Naval Headquarters in Colombo today (27^th August).

During this visit, the head of the delegation Major General U.Suresh Kumar met with the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva and held a cordial discussion. Subsequently, the visiting delegation was briefed on the role of the Sri Lanka Navy and its contribution in protection of the defence of the nation and its interests. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark this occasion.

Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle and a group of senior officers of the Naval Headquarters also attended this discussion.
