A person with 1.576kg of KG apprehended by Navy

Navy in coordination with Police STF apprehended a person with 1.576kg of Kerala Cannabis, during a raid carried out at Kaliyapuram area in Jaffna on 19^th August 2019.

Northern Naval Command in coordination with Police STF-Jaffna had observed a suspicious person who was travelling on a motor bike. Accordingly, by searching the suspect this amount of KG was recovered and he was apprehended.

The suspect is a resident of Gurunagar area. He along with amount of KG and motor bike was handed over to Jaffna Police for onward actions.
