A suspect apprehend with a locally made shot gun
A suspect with a locally made shotgun was apprehended during a raid conducted by the Navy in coordination with Department of Wildlife Conservation, at Sanhindagama area in Hambanthota, today (19th August).
Accordingly, a suspicious person had been observed during a raid carried out by Southern Naval Command, in coordination with Department of Wildlife Conservation. While searching the person, this local shot gun which had no license, 110 lead balls and 20g of gun powder were found.
The suspect is a resident of Samodagama area in Hambanthota, aged 24. For onward action, the suspect along with the localy made shot gun, lead balls and gun powder, were handed over to Department of Wildlife Conservation- Hambanthota.
