Navy recovers a haul of Kerala Cannabis

SL Navy in coordination with the officials of Police Narcotics Bureau recovered 31.5kg of Kerala Cannabis at Chavakachcheri area in Kodikamam, on 6^th August 2019.

Accordingly, Naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command in coordination with the officials of Police Narcotics Bureau-Jaffna had searched a suspicious bag on the roadside, during a raid and found this haul of KG bagged into 15 parcels.

The suspects are believed to be escaped leaving the haul of KG, due to the combined operation of the Navy and Police Narcotics Bureau. The haul of KG was handed over to Kodikamam Police for onward actions.
