Navy assists the annual feast of St. Anne’s Church, Thalawila

The annual feast of St. Anne’s Church in Thalawila, was held on 4^th August 2019 with the participation of a large number of devotees and Sri Lanka Navy assisted the festival.

Accordingly, under the directives of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva and with the supervision of the Area Commander, naval personnel from all naval bases and establishments in Northwestern Naval Command participated in the feast providing their assistance.

The parish priest and the devotees paid their gratitude to the Navy for the assistance given in making the annual feast a success. Further, Navy is prepared to provide any assistance for this kind of religious activities.
