Navy administers treatment to foreigner injured in Panama lagoon
The Navy administered treatment to a foreigner who got injured while surfing in the Panama lagoon, Arugambay on 02nd August 2019.
The foreigner who is on a tour in Arugambay area faced this unfortunate incident while surfing in the waters of Panama lagoon.
Having noticed this accident, lifesavers of Navy’s Rapid Response Rescue and Relief Unit (4RU), on duty, promptly rescued the foreigner who was in trouble.
It was later found that the person has sustained head injuries due to the accident. Accordingly, he was admitted to the Command Naval Hospital (Southeast) and was discharged in the evening after treatment given by medics of the Navy.
The injured person is a Russian national, about 30 years old.
