Outgoing Japanese Defence Attaché calls on Commander Western Naval Area

The outgoing Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka, Captain Atsuhiro Morero paid a courtesy call on the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe at the Western Naval Command Headquarters today (24^th July 2019).

During the meeting, they exchanged views on several matters of bilateral importance. The newly appointed Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Japan, 1^st Lieutenant Gaku Fukaura and Deputy Area Commander (West), Commodore Rohitha Perera were also present on this occasion. Rear Admiral Weerasinghe also presented mementos to both Defence Attachés to signify the importance of this occasion.
