39^th edition of ‘Sayurusara’ out with a new look

The 39^th edition of all-new look ‘Sayurusara’ magazine was presented to Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva by its editorial board at the Naval Headquarters today (23^rd July 2019).

The occasion was attended by the Naval Assistant and patron of the magazine, Commodore Dhammika Kumara, Navy Media Coordinator and executive supervisor of the magazine, Lieutenant Commander Isuru Suriyabandara and Staff Officer (Media) and chief editor of ‘Sayurusara’, Lieutenant Commander (VNF) Saliya Sudusinghe.

With the able guidance given by the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, ‘Sayurusara’ with a new look was published, including articles of naval personnel as well as to make aware naval community on Navy’s Corporate Social Responsibility projects, environmental drives and special occasions, trough features.

Besides, the editorial board of the magazine is determined to issue the magazine half-yearly from this edition onwards, in a bid to ameliorate the reading and writing skills of naval personnel.
