Outgoing Japanese Defence Attaché calls on Commander of the Navy

The outgoing Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka, Captain Atsuhiro Morero paid a courtesy call on the Commander of Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the Naval Headquarters today (22^nd July).

During the meeting, they exchanged views on several matters of bilateral importance and Captain Morero paid his gratitude to the Navy Commander for the cordial relationship during his tenure.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Japan, 1st Lieutenant Gaku Fukaura was also present on this occasion. Vice Admiral Silva presented mementos to both outgoing and incoming Defence Attachés to mark the importance of this occasion.
