Navy apprehends two persons with Kerala Cannabis

SL Navy in coordination with Police Narcotics Bureau-Puttalam apprehended 02 persons with Kerala Cannabis, during a raid carried out at Kadigawa area in Rasnayakapura, on 15^th July 2019.

Accordingly, Naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command with the officers of Police Narcotics Bureau-Puttalam had apprehended these persons who were transporting 1.355kg of KG on a motor bike.The suspects are residents of Weerapokuna and Mirihanegama areas, aged 25 and 40.

The amount of KG, suspects and the motor bike were handed over for onward actions to Rasnayakapura Police by Police Narcotics Division in Puttalam.
