The Sri Lanka Navy Strongly denies the statement made on Ceylon Today newspaper on 13^th July 2019 under the heading ‘Wide probe on ghost ship’

The Sri Lanka Navy write to the Chief Editor of ‘Ceylon Today’ newspaper for making corrective measures on a false statement published in an article quoting the Navy Spokesman on 13^th July newspaper. The article under the heading Wide probe on ghost ship’ has quoted the Navy Spokesman and has stated that “It appears that those onboard this ghost ship could be either Indians or Pakistanis” which is a false statement made by the writer. The Sri Lanka Navy strongly denies the statement and informed the editor to take corrective action.
