Captain Sanjeewa Premaratne assumes duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Suranimila

Captain (H) Sanjeewa Premaratne today (12^th July) assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Fast Missile Vessel, SLNS Suranimila.

Accordingly, the former Commanding Officer of the ship, Captain (ASW) Chandima Silva officially handed over the duties to his successor aboard the ship. The formal ceremony took place at SLNS Rangalla was also attended by Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Upul De Silva. The proceedings of the occasion came to a close after the inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
