Four (04) suspects held with 64g of Kerala cannabis

Sri Lanka Navy in coordination with the Illawalai Police held 04 suspects with 64g of Kerala cannabis, during a raid conducted in Madagal, Jaffna on 10^th July 2019.

Whilst searching a house in Madagal area, naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command and officials of the Illawalai Police had found Kerala cannabis and arrested these 04 persons who have been identified as farther and 03 sons of the same family. The suspects are 50, 27, 26 and 22 years of age.

Meanwhile, the Illawalai Police is conducting further investigation into the incident.
