Divisions of Western Naval Command inspected by Commander of the Navy at SLNS Rangalla

The divisional inspection of the Western Naval Command was held in the presence of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the parade ground of SLNS Rangalla today (10^th July 2019).

Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe received Commander of the Navy to the Western Naval Command Headquarters, prior to the commencement of the inspection. Vice Admiral Silva also addressed all naval personnel who were present on this occasion, representing the Western Naval Command.

Deputy Area Commander Western Naval Area, Heads of Departments, Commanding Officers of ships and establishments belonging to the Western Naval Command, senior officers and a large number of sailors were also present on this occasion.
