Eastern Naval Command conducts a blood donation programme

A blood donation programme organized by the Eastern Naval Command was held at the General Hospital, Trincomalee today (01^st July).

This blood donation was conducted under the guidance of Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe, to fulfill an emergency blood requirement of the blood bank. More than 60 naval personnel have voluntarily presented at the event to donate blood.
