Water gel tubes found at Arisimale beach by Navy

During a foot patrol conducted at the Arisimale beach in Pulmodai, naval personnel had found several water gel tubes on 30^th June 2019.

A group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command, during a foot patrol conducted at the Arisimale beach in Pulmodai, managed to recover several water gel tubes hidden in a shrub. Accordingly, 04 water gel tubes, 24 pieces of a-foot-long safety fuses, 116 non electric detonators and 04 safety matchboxes had been recovered.

It is believed that these items have been hidden close to the beach area with the intention of using them for illegal fishing practices.
