Commander Chaminda Wijewardhena takes over command of SLNS Rathnadeepa

Commander (C) Chaminda Wijewardhena took over the duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Coastal Patrol Vessel (CPV) SLNS Rathnadeepa today (25^th June).

The former Commanding Officer, Commander (C) Ranga De Zoysa officially handed over the duties to his successor onboard the ship. The occasion was also attended by Deputy Area Commander (South), Commodore Anura Danapala. The proceedings of the formal ceremony came to a close following an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer at the pier of SLNS Dakshina.
