Navy nabbs two persons with a haul of pain killers

Sri Lanka Navy in coordination with Anti corruption Bureau-Trincomalee apprehended two persons with a haul of pain killer drugs, during a raid carried out at Linganagar area in Trincomalee, on 14^th June 2019.

Accordingly, Naval personnel attached to Estern Naval Command in coordination with Anti corruption Bureau arrested these two persons with 130 capsuals of ‘Pregazim’ pain killers. The drugs were being delivered by them on a motor bike.

The suspects are residents of Trincomalee aged 26 and 30. Further investigation into the case is conducted by the Anti Corruption Bureau Trincomalee.
