Commander Raj Prasantha takes over command of SLNS Prathapa

Commander (G) Raj Prasantha took over the duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Fast Gun Boat (FGB) SLNS Prathapa on 11^th June 2019.

The former Commanding Officer, Commander (G) Prasad Vithanage officially handed over the duties of the ship to its new Commanding Officer at the CNAD Pier in Naval Dockyard Trincomalee. The occasion was also attended by Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Ananda Guruge. The proceedings of the formal ceremony came to a close following an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
