Lieutenant Commander Gihan Dharmasiri takes over command of SLNS Weeraya

Lieutenant Commander (G) Gihan Dharmasiri took over the duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Fast Gun Boat (FGB) SLNS Weeraya on 11^th June 2019.

The former Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Commander (G) Kelum Senevirathna officially handed over the duties to his predecessor at the Ceylon Naval Armament Department (CNAD) Pier in Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee. The occasion was also attended by Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Ananda Guruge. The proceedings of the formal ceremony came to a close following an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
