Navy apprehends a person with heroin

Sri Lanka Navy in coordination with Thalaimannar Police arrested one person who possessed 40mg of heroin, at Thalaimannar area on 08^th June 2019.

Accordingly, a team of Naval personnel attached to North Central Naval Command in coordination with Police personnel of Thalaimannar arrested this person during a raid carried out at Thalaimannar area.

The suspects has been identified as a resident of Thalaimannar, aged 24. Thalaimannar Police conducts further inquiries on the suspect.
