Navy recovers banned fishing nets in Ullackalie lagoon area
A group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command recovered a few banned fishing nets during a patrol carried out in Ullackalie lagoon area, toady morning (01st June).
Accordingly, twenty five (25) banned nets, each was about 80 feet in length, were recovered and they were handed over to the Assistant Director of Fisheries in Trincomalee for onward action.
