SLNS Therapuththa marks a decade of glory

The 10^th anniversary of SLNS Therapuththa located at Silawathura in the Northwestern Naval Command was celebrated on a high note yesterday (14^th May).

Meanwhile, the crew of SLNS Therapuththa, under the guidance of its Commanding Officer Commander (NP) Lalith Nishantha, held several programmes, in view of the anniversary celebrations. Accordingly, giving prominence to time-honoured naval traditions the Commanding Officer inspected divisions in the morning and addressed his men.

The anniversary celebrations concluded with the traditional partaking of meal – known as ‘Barakana’ in the attendance of all officers, sailors and civil employees.
