SLNS Barana proudly celebrates its 10^th anniversary

The 10th anniversary of SLNS Barana located at Mollikulam in the Northwestern Naval Command was celebrated on a high note yesterday (14^th May).

Meanwhile, the crew of SLNS Barana, under the guidance of its Commanding Officer Captain (NP) Sisira Dissanayake, held several programmes, in view of the anniversary celebrations. Accordingly, giving prominence to time-honoured naval traditions the Commanding Officer inspected divisions in the morning and addressed his men.

The anniversary celebrations concluded with the traditional partaking of meal – ‘Barakana’ in the attendance of all officers, sailors and civil employees.
