Navy apprehends two persons with 79.3 kg of Kerala Cannabis

A team of Naval personnel apprehended two persons with 79.3kg of KG whilst a patrol carried out in northern seas, today (11^th May).

Accordingly, a team of Naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command apprehended these persons with the haul of KG during a patrol carried out in the seas off Veththalakarni. It is suspected that the smugglers had tried to transfer this haul of KG to Sri Lanka by a dinghy.

The suspects, haul of KG and the dinghy is due to be handed over to the Sri Lanka Police.
