Navy held a person with unauthorized fishing nets

Sri Lanka Navy held a person with unauthorized fishing nets in Kerani area of Delft, today ( 8^th May).

Accordingly, naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command, during a foot patrol, held a person with 4 unauthorized fishing nets each 1000 m in length. The suspect is a resident of Delft area, aged 37.

The suspect and four nets were handed over to the Fisheries Inspector of Jaffna for onward action.
