Unauthorized fishing nets found in the lagoon of Ullakkalie

Naval personnel found several unauthorized fishing nets in the lagoon of Ullakkalie this morning (07^th May).

A group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command, during a routine patrol, found 14 unauthorized fishing nets, each is about 40ft in length.

The 14 unauthorized nets were handed over to the Fisheries Inspector of Verugal for onward action.
