Navy assists in the construction of new Dana Shala at Rathana Sandaham Meditation Centre
The new Dana Shala constructed at Rathana Sandaham Meditation Centre in Kithulkote, Thanamalwila, with the labour provided by Sri Lanka Navy, was vested upon the Maha Sangha, on 5th May.
Accordingly, the new Dana Sala at Rathana Sandaham Meditation Centre in Kithulkote, Thanamalwila which was constructed by the labour provided by Sri Lanka Navy, was declared open by the President's Secretary Mr. Udaya R Senavirathna and Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, today. This occasion was attended by the Maha Sangha of the nearby temples, former Commander of the Navy Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe and large number of devotees in the area.
Further, the foundation stone for construction of a RO plant at temple premises was laid by the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva. The devotees presented on the occasion were observed in Pansil by Maha Sangha followed by a short sermon.
