Navy apprehends two persons with heroin

Sri Lanka Navy in coordination with Police STF arrested 2 persons who possessed 575mg of heroin, at Gurunagar area in Jaffna on 5^th May.

Accordingly, a team of Naval personnel attached to Northern Naval Command in coordination with STF personnel of Jaffna arrested these two persons during a raid carried out in Gurunagar area. The suspects have been identified as residents of Gurunagar area, aged 32 and 47.

The suspects along with the heroin were handed over to Jaffna Police by the STF, for onward action.
