Navy nabs 03 suspects with 15 Pkts of Kerala cannabis

Naval personnel nabbed 03 suspects with 15pkts (15g) of Kerala cannabis in front of the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo on 27^thApril.

A group of naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command, deployed for the security in the heart of Colombo, had arrested 03 persons for possessing 15pkts of Kerala cannabis. The amount of cannabis had been hidden in the three-wheeler in which the suspects were travelling. The arrested persons are residents of Moratuwa and Mount Lavinia, aged 31, 43 and 64.

The suspects along with the three-wheeler and cannabis were handed over to the Colombo Fort Police Station for onward legal action.
