A person nabbed with 700mg of Cannabis

A Naval team arrested a person with 700mg of Cannabis at Killiveddi in Trincomalee, today (26^th April).

Accordingly, a team of Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command arrested a person who possessed 700mg of Cannabis, during a raid carried out in Killiveddi area in Trincomalee. The Cannabis was found hidden in his van.

The suspect is a resident of Batticaloa area aged 22. He along with the van and Cannabis were handed over to Muthoor Police for onward legal action.
