Navy recovers banned fishing nets in Ullackalie lagoon area

A group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command recovered a few banned fishing nets during a patrol carried out in Ullackalie lagoon area, lastmorning (21^stApril).

Accordingly, six (06) banned nets, each was about 50 feet in length, were recovered and they were handed over to the Fisheries Inspector of Trincomalee for onward action.
