Officers of US Navy ships meet Commander Southern Naval Area

A group of officers from the US Navy ships, USNS ‘Millinocket’ and USS ‘Spruance’ which arrived in Sri Lanka for the Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT)-2019 exercise, met Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Kapila Samaraweera yesterday (18^th April).

During the cordial discussion, they exchanged views on the annual CARAT exercise and exchanged mementoes to signify the importance of the occasion. A host of officials including the Commanding Officer USNS ‘Millinocket’ Captain E Lao and Commanding Officer USS ‘Spruance’ Commander M Smidt were also present on the occasion.
