Navy held a person with illegal liquor

A team of Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command in coordination with Vakari Police, nabbed a person with 210 liters (20 barrels) of illegal local liquor, during a raid carried out in pannichcherkerni area, yesterday (06^th April). This stock of liquor was set for sale.

The suspect is a resident of Vakari area aged 48. Further investigation on the suspect and liquor are conducted by Vakari Police.
