Commander Janaka Hettiarachchi assumes duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Jayasagara

Commander Janaka Hettiarachchi assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Offshore Patrol Vessel, SLNS Jayasagara, today (01^st April).

The former Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander Kasun Manjula officially handed over the duties to the new Commanding Officer at the Three Fathom jetty in Trincomalee. Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Fleet Rear Admiral Ananda Guruge was also present on this occasion.

The proceedings of the occasion ended after the inspection of divisions of the new Commanding Officer.
