Navy General Hospital (CBO) recognized at National Productivity Competition

The National Productivity Awards 2018 organized by the National Productivity Secretariat under the guidance of Ministry of Public Administration and Management was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on 26^th March 2019, under the patronage of the Prime Minister Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The National Productivity Awards 2018 was organized to evaluate the organization on human resource management, leadership, institutional culture, care for employee, planning and strategic development, process, information and knowledge management and results.

The Navy General Hospital (CBO) won the 03^rd place in inter departmental category at the National Productivity Awards 2018 for maintaining high standard and productive services. Representing the Sri Lanka Navy, Commander Western Naval Area Rear Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne and Senior Command Medical Officer (W), Surgeon Captain Duminda Samarawickrama were present on the occasion to receive the award.

Further, Navy General Hospital (CBO) is the only organization which has been awarded the Presidential Environmental Award and National Productivity Award in 2018.
