Navy recovers a banned fishing net

A troop of Naval personnel attached to the North Western Naval Command, recovered a banned nylon net during a patrol carried out at Serakkuliya sea area in Kalpitiya, today (19^th March).

The recovered net is 75m long and it was handed over to the Fisheries Inspector-Puttalam for further investigation.
