Three (03) persons nabbed with 10.4kg of Kerala cannabis

A troop of naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command nabbed 03 persons with 10.4kg of Kerala cannabis during a raid carried out in the general area of Aiyyakachchi yesterday (17^th March). The suspects were arrested while they were transferring the stock of cannabis by two motorbikes.

The arrested persons are residents of Alvai in Jaffna, aged 47 and 60. The 02 suspects together with the stock of cannabis and two motorbikes used for the transferring purpose were handed over to the Jaffna Police for onward legal action.
