Navy nabs a person possessed narcotic drugs

A group of naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command, in collaboration with Mulankavil Police and officials from National Food & Medicines Regulatory Authority, apprehended a person who had been selling Pregabalin pain killer tablets, during a raid carried out at Mulankavil area in Kilinochchi, yesterday (17^th March).

The recovered haul of narcotic drugs was consisted of 168 nos. of 150mg Pregabalin tablets and since this pharmacy didn’t have a license, it was sealed by the officials of National Food & Medicines Regulatory Authority . The person with the cache of drugs was handed over to Mulankavil Police for further investigation.
