Navy rescues two fishermen distressed in seas

Two fishermen who distressed in the seas off Mannar due to stranding their fishing craft between the sand banks, were rescued by a group of naval personnel attached to North central Naval Command, today (14th March).

This craft had left the Pesalai area in Mannar for fishing, yesterday and it had stranded in the seas between 4th and 5th sand banks.
