Navy recovers explosives used for illegal fishing

A group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command recovered few explosive items hidden in a scrub, during a search carried out in the beach area of Sagarapura yesterday (11^th March). During the search, 02 water gel sticks, 08 non electric detonators and 05 safety fuses were seized and the items were kept safe at the armoury of SLNS Walagamba.
